I am becoming the best version of myself, for myself.
I absolutely love this affirmation. When it comes to treating your pelvic floor, do it for your future self. Each decade that we age, our muscles lose a lot of the ability to improve the strength and coordination, this includes the pelvic floor muscles as well as the surrounding muscles needed to stay strong. So that leaking w/ coughing/sneezing/laughing (will get worse), prolapse (will get worse), fecal incontinence (will get worse) and pain/painful intercourse (will get worse). My advice is to start improving these symptoms while you are still young and have the opportunity to set yourself up for success and lead a life with improved strength along the way!! It's a great journey that I love to help people with.
